Enlace
Enlace is a strategic alliance of low-wage worker centers, unions, and community organizations in Mexico and in the U.S. We partner with our member organizations in international campaigns to motivate abusive multi-sector transnational corporations to treat workers and communities with dignity and respect.
Enlace uses an integrated approach to organizing, creating unique campaign strategies while developing systems strengthening organizations internally. Our strategies often cross industrial and sector lines for reasons relating to both workforce development and campaign strategy.
In addition, the Enlace Institute presents trainings in strategic organization development that were developed over the many years of learning through our campaigns. Our collaborative brainstorming processes are useful for virtually all work groups in base-building organizations.

We at Enlace are so very grateful for the role you have played in helping us make low-wage workers’ aspirations for a fulfilling life for their families achievable. We are continuing our work with the Enlace Institute, strengthening organizations that work with low wage communities by training staff and members in strategic planning, evaluation and campaign analysis.
And now Enlace, in partnership with community organizations around the country, is coordinating the Prison Divestment Campaign. Our research has pointed to private prisons and their investors as the money behind the current anti-immigrant hate wave. The campaign targets major prison investors, who are also financing prison lobbying efforts, to divest from the prison industry, including the two major private prison companies: Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) and the Geo Group. We have already been successful. On May 16, four days after our first national day of action, Pershing Square Capital Management divested all holdings from CCA! On July 1st in over 14 cities, actions exposed private prisons and their investors as one of the forces behind Georgia’s HB87.
